Merlot Metamorfosis was produced from grapes grown in Dealu Mare region, which is known as the 'country of red wines'.

Dealu Mare - The Big Hill. The region is one in the most important regions from Romania. It spreads on more or less than 400 km2, hillsides south the sub-Carpathian Mountains in the south of Carpathians.

The soil is chalky and stony, fertile, well-drained and very rich in mineral components.

Tasting notes :
It displays aromas and flavours reminescent of ripe purple plums, black berries and red cherries with hints of dark chocolate and spices. The vanilla from the new oak adds complexity to the beautifully ripe fruit, and fine but firm tannins.
Food pairing :
This Merlot will pair well with many foods, try it with pate, pork, veal or lamb roasts, or rich mature cheeses.
